Fitness Equipment On a Wood Floor

We are, all of us, unique.  As are the reasons we begin our fitness journeys.

​

I started my path as a personal trainer over five years ago.  My reason for starting was a pretty important client: myself.  I was always the skinny kid. As hard as I tried, I couldn’t gain weight or muscle easily.  I was the one who kept his shirt on at the pool.  The one who looked at the arms of other guys and wondered if I could ever be proud of my physique, but ultimately couldn’t see it.  And I have to be honest…it felt like crap.  It affected my confidence in ways too numerous to count. 

 

It wasn’t until I was in my early thirties that I decided I was going to take my health and fitness into my own hands and change my body.  In order to do that I had to change my mind and adhere to a new lifestyle.  I consumed every little bit of information I could find on nutrition and fitness.  I read every book on physiology and the human body that I could get my hands on: from Schwarzenegger to Navy Seal calisthenic workouts to books on anatomy and kinesthetics.  I watched and took notes on endless hours of video, both purchased and on Youtube.  I took deep dives into my diet, leaning about macronutrients, body types, caloric intake and expenditure. 

 

And all of this was before I obtained my Personal Trainer Certifications with NCCPT and ISSA.  I was obsessed.  Driven.   Within one year, I went from a wiry 155 pounds with very so-so conditioning skills to an athletic 185 pounds with the ability to run circles around that old me.

            PERSONAL TRAINING

            GROUP TRAINING

 

There's nothing quite like having a partner, or a group, to work out with.  Especially when that workout is guided by a professional.  Not only will you get in shape and have fun doing it.  You'll also create memories with friends and loved ones as you move along your fitness journey.

There is a certain magic in a circuit that works.  Going from station to station, knowing what you just achieved and looking ahead to what you will achieve next...and doing it with friends?  Well, sometimes that will make all the difference.  More on the VISION/PLANS page.

            ONLINE TRAINING

It could be because you don't like gyms.  It could be because you don't live anywhere near Los Angeles.  It could be due to the unease surrounding the gym environment in a world where the understanding of COVID-19 is still limited.

​

Whatever the reason, I'm here for you.  I can provide you with personal online sessions via Zoom, FaceTime or Skype.
